STARTUP STORY NIGHT 2019

“Don’t Call It A Comeback”

The New Economy Initiative (NEI), in partnership with Model D Media, would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who supported this year’s Startup Story Night event!

We would like to give a special shout out to this year’s host Shannon Cason, host venue The Marble Bar, catering provided by FoodLab Detroit member Salt + Ko; and, the musical stylings of Detroit’s own ONEFREQ.

Last, but not least, we want give a big THANK YOU to this year’s storytellers, who left everyone in the room inspired to share their comeback story; and, to keep chasing their startup dreams!

New to Startup Story Night?

Startup Story Night (SUSN) is a platform for entrepreneurs in Southeast Michigan to share their experiences in opening, owning and running their own businesses.

The process is simple: Local entrepreneurs submit their stories in line with the night’s theme. A selection committee carefully chooses four storytellers, who spend the weeks leading up to the big night working with the host to hone their stories for the live event. Previous themes include “That A-Ha Moment” and “Love What You Do”. The selection committee is generally made up of entrepreneurs and past storytellers of Startup Story Night.
